One of 2011’s most talked about films, One Day stars Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess. Emma (Hathaway) and Dexter (Sturgess) meet on the night of their graduation and strike up an unlikely friendship which plays out across twenty years. Brought to you from the producers of 300, Immortals boasts a star-studded cast including Mickey Rourke, Frieda Pinto and Henry Cavill who, in this role, proved himself worthy of being cast as the next Superman.

Rourke plays King Hyperion who, mad with bloodlust, has declared war on humanity and is hell-bent upon overthrowing the gods. Ancient law leaves the gods powerless to intervene, obliging Zeus to secretly call upon Theseus, (played by Cavill), to save his people and his gods from certain destruction.

The Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D will be presented in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio with both versions offering a host of extra features including alternate openings and endings, behind the scenes featurettes, deleted scenes and a graphic novel.

Starring the ineffable Daniel Craig alongside first time Oscar nominee Rooney Mara, this film has been nominated for five Academy Awards to date. Craig plays disgraced journalist Mikael Blomkvist who, alongside tattooed hacker Lisbeth Salander played by Mara, is hired by a wealthy patriarch to investigate the disappearance of his niece 40 years before. As their investigation progresses Blomkvist and Salander encounter grave danger when unravelling the beginnings of a dark and corrupt family history.

Featuring commentary by David Fincher, the BD comes in 1080p to maximise image quality and with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack for fantastic audio.

A regular comedy favourite of many, this parody of King Arthur’s quest to find the Holy Grail follows the absurd challenges Arthur (Graham Chapman) along with his squire (Terry Gilliam) face in their quest. The Knights of the Round Table, including Sir Bedevere the Wise (Terry Jones), Sir Lancelot the Brave (John Cleese), Sir Galahad the Pure (Michael Palin) and Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot (Eric Idle) are also recruited as the pack encounter various perils, including the relentless Black Knight and deadly rabbit of Caerbannog.

The BD is set to include a colossal array of bonus features including various commentaries from the cast, outtakes, educational videos, a BBC Film Night feature, photo galleries and various behind-the- scenes shorts on the different characters and their obstacles.

Boasting fantastic levels of picture and sound quality, this heart-warming tale follows Lady, a pampered pedigree pup, and Tramp, a scruffy but soft-hearted mutt, who find themselves thrown together when Lady ventures out of her comfort zone into the big wide world.

The BD will arrive packed with immersive bonus content for the whole family including deleted scenes, a look at the animation techniques, songs and storyboarding, featurettes Lady’s Pedigree: The Making Of Lady and A Perfect Little Lady: The Story Of Lady And The Tramp, as well as much more.

A regular feature on many ‘most anticipated Blu-rays’ lists, Jaws, based on Peter Benchley’s novel, sees police chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) trying to protect beachgoers from a ferocious man-eating shark. Teaming up with marine biologist Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and a professional shark hunter Quint (Robert Shaw), this thrilling horror is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat and scared to go back in the water anytime soon.

Special features have yet to been confirmed but we’ll make sure you’re the first to find out. The studio has however hinted that one or more of the film’s sequels may also get a BD upgrade, so watch this space for more info!
