To mark the release of The Amazing Spider-Man on the big screen, this week we’re giving you the chance to win the original Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire on Blu-ray.
Directed by Sam Raimi, these three Blu-rays follow the story of Peter Parker’s relationship with his High School crush Mary Jane Watson as he battles villains including the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Sandman and Venom.

I enjoy the Spiderman movies. I really liked Tobey Maguire in the role but also enjoyed Garfield as the title character. Christopher Reeve will always be Superman to me!

Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man. Downey is a phenomenal actor and pulls off as the rich Starks very well. I’d recast him. Not too sure about Henry Cavill as the new Superman. He’s got a big shoe to fill. Plus I’m not familiar with Cavills other work. I’d cast Michael Fassbender as the new Batman. I was impressed with his work in Xmen.

Always been a damn shame to me that The Punisher has had three movies and they’ve all sucked butts. Christopher Meloni: Christopher Meloni was on special victims unit for years , and if folks remember, before that he played ‘Keller” on Oz. (I guess right now he’s on True Blood and IMDB says he even has a role in Man of Steel) I’ve always said that Dude should get a shot at playing Frank Castle. He might be a little too old nowadays but hes absolutely perfect for the part. So it might be too late now but he could’ve been for The Punisher what Jackman is for Wolverine
As far as Henry Cavill goes I have high hopes. Anyone like myself that watched The Tudors from start to finish knows. the dude can actually act , and act well. Unlike other “pretty boys” with zero “chops”. (Lookin at you Channing Tatum) Not to say that playing a role in any Zack Snyder movie is going to get you nominated for an Academy award but.. I just want Supes to be interesting for once. And hes a tough nut to crack. His track record is all over the map and he deserves his due. Hell sometimes even in the Justice League Bruce Timm Style Cartoons he doesn’t live up to his potential,.. hes one of those characters where hes just too easy to Ef it all up. (Superman Batman Apocalypse:Good , Justice League Doom:Good,.. But Superman Vs The Elite looks like a bag of Butt Cracks)Lets get those fingers crossed for MoS people

one of my favourite superhero films is the first Batman. I loved Michael Keaton as Batman with Jack Nicholson as the joker. I also like Christian Bale in the role.
The only Batman I did not rate was George Clooney.
I would like to see Ryan Gosling in the role next that would be interesting!!!

Although not quite a ‘superhero’ – Heath Ledger as the Joker was probably the best cast role in the superhero franchises. Christian Bale is perfect as Batman, shame its his last movie…….its hard act to follow!

Honestly, growing up as a X-Men fanatic, I am still a little angry that Gambit, one of the high profile members of the group never got anything more than a cameo appearance in any of the films. A bit outrageous considering how much time and effort was spent developing his character in the comic book series…

Christian Bale’s Batman has been one of the best, but my favourite castings are the villians, especially the 2 Jokers. Heath Ledger was AMAZING and I would love to see Jack Nicholson recast – he makes a great villain with his evil smile.

Fave would be Batman. I love George Clooney and Michael Keaton, but both were wrong for the role. Christian Bale has been the best one in my opinion. Also really liked Christopher Reeve as Superman, none of the others. Haven’t seen the new Spiderman yet but it’s only been like 10 years since the last one so not sure what will be that different in this one other than the stars.

I think Batman is the coolest and most interesting of the superhero’s.He doesn’t have superpowers,which in this genre is unusual,so he gets by with his mind,his wits,his physical abilities and self designed gadgets.He uses these attributes to fight the most frightening and freakish collection of villains ever assembled.His background and struggles are easy for the everyday man to identify with.A true super hero,Nolan’s reboot is the best yet and I would like to see Jake Gyllenhaal (Jarhead,Zodiac,Prince of Persia) take the role of Batman because I think he would be the perfect replacement.@PhillipsBarrie

My favourite superhero is Spiderman and I thought Toby McGuire was perfectly cast in the original trilogy. If they were to recast again I’d like to see an older spiderman: someone like Jeremy Renner, I think he would do a great job. I think the new superman movie has the potential to be the best movie yet. Personally my favourite ever superman is Dean Cain from the TV series. As for Batman, Christian Bale has been the best so it will be very hard to fill his boots. Someone like Mark Wahlberg would do a pretty good job though.

Favourite superhero is Batman. I’m looking forward to seeing Henry Cavill as Superman next year, he’s definitely got the look and he’s a good actor so can’t wait for that. I’d love to see Tobey Maguire come back as Spider Man in the future, having grown up seeing him in the role he will always be Spider Man to me. I’d like to see Michael Fassbender as the next Batman, he’s got that dark but witty side to him so I’d be happy if he took on the role.

I think Fassbender could play basically any superhero at all. He’d be especially good at Batman’s darkness and edge.

My favourite SuperHero, many years ago was WonderWoman! I would recast Angelina Jolie to be the role now… I am not sure how Henry Cavills role of Superman will stand up against the others, a tough act to follow, but I imagine that it will be superb – looking forward to seeing it. My ideal actor to play Batman… dificult one, I cannot think of someone that would be my suggestion for the role.. young, muscly, dark, smokey…

Batman will always be my favorite. Bale does a great job of bringing Wayne and Batman to life (except maybe the gravelly mumbling) and I think he is going to be a very hard act to follow. @jo4chelsea Ironman deffinatly got it right on the casting front. Robert Downey jnr was the perfect actor for the job. As for the new spiderman, im not too sure i think he looks better and the suits definatly better but over all i was really quite disappointed and prefered the spiderman films with Toby Maguire in.. i mean i dont get why they changed mary jane and he took his mask off way too many times…the comic book spiderman never revealed himself!!!!

My superhero is Spiderman. And I would recast Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/ Spiderman because he looks more like the character in the comic. Henry Cavill’s role of Superman is still new and I guess a lot of young people will like him but my all time favorite is still Christopher Reeve. He fits the character well. I think Bradley Cooper can be a pretty good Batman. He has the body at least.

Henry Cavill will probably rank in between the other Superman actors, with Reeve being at the top of course. My favorite superhero is Batman. I’m interested more in who would direct the next Batman film(s) but would like to maybe see Clive Owen as the next Batman? He seems like he would make a good Bruce Wayne at least. I’m not sure I would recast any others though.
